Nancy Neiditz
US travelling practitioner
Nancy first started her career as a physio in 1989, graduating from NYU’s PT program. She went on to become a Feldenkrais™ Practitioner in 1994 and started Anat’s Children mastery training in 2001, which she completed in 2006. She has had the privilege of being mentored by Marcy Lindheimer, a Senior Anat Baniel Trainer, since 1995. Nancy utilizes her skills from her dance, yoga, Pilates training as well as her work with ABM NeuroMovement® and Feldenkrais. Her greatest gift is knowing what the child needs next, how to get the child to the next level in “their” development.
In 2003 Nancy introduced Dr. Paul Jordan and Dr. Roy Nuzzo, specialists in treating spasticity in CP children using the SPML procedure, to the ABM community. The minimally invasive technique has changed the trajectory of hundreds of her CP clients. Nancy works closely with Dr. Nuzzo, Dr. Price at NYU Langone, and now with Dr. Kanellopoulos in Athens, Greece. She knows when to recommend consultations with them to improve children’s mobility.
Since 1995 Nancy she been working exclusively with infants and toddlers as part of the NYC Early Intervention program throughout New York City. She has been a part-time therapist at a large public clinic in upstate NY for 15 years, where she sees thousands of children with varying degrees of childhood brain and physical injuries.
